Our business

What started as a modest company servicing the mining sector in WA in the 1970s. Tradesales has grown to become a world-class manufacturer of heavy-duty storage systems, workshop equipment and relocatable site solutions.

We may have come a long way since our humble beginnings, but our purpose remains the same: to make workplaces safe, efficient, and organised.

No matter the size of the job, this all begins with understanding you and your challenges. We ask questions, we get to know your plans, and try and have a laugh along the way.

Our story

Tradesales designs, manufactures and delivers heavy-duty storage, workshop equipment, and relocatable site solutions. These products are developed in close collaboration with Australia’s heavy industries to meet the exact requirements of their operations.

We achieve the best outcomes for our clients through a combination of three key elements. First, we offer on-site consultations from our technical experts, who provide valuable insights and advice. Secondly, our in-house design and engineering team ensures that every project is executed precisely and meets specifications. Finally, our skilled manufacturing capabilities allow us to bring designs to life, delivering high-quality products that meet the client’s needs.

Our History

Tradesales was founded in 1976 by Peter Judd. The company rapidly expanded in the 80s as the business went on to work with government agencies, including defence and education. The company also grew into the mining sector. In the 90s, Tradesales designed its signature Tradelocker, giving the company the onus to open a manufacturing arm. Throughout the 2000s, Tradesales further expanded the manufacturing side of the business with a focus on providing heavy-duty storage systems and workshop equipment. The company also added relocatable site solutions to its lineup, which are containerised versions of workshops, locker rooms, site offices, crib rooms, and more. Read our full history here.
